My sister Kathy, (yes I’m writing this for her because she would not toot her own horn) is an amazing painter. She has a knack for colors and aesthetic, while also considering each person’s style preference and room use.
She spent years as “the bank lady” in a trusted role with a local bank. She has impeccable customer service, because she genuinely cares about people and making sure they get what they need. She’s not afraid to make recommendations and ask questions to ensure she’s helping you head in the right direction.
Over the years (while working as the bank lady) she took on many many home renovation and painting projects for herself, family and friends as requested. I can personally attest to the workmanship and dedication to an incredible job - as she painted 3 different houses for me. Two of them were in preparation to sell, and one is the home we live in now. The houses up for sale both sold within a month of the paint job being completed and likely at a higher price than they would have before she spread her magic on the walls. This is my personal experience.
In 2020, she decided to launch her own painting company. She was encouraged by Bill, a wonderful longtime friend and retired business owner who has since passed away. Their conversations inspired her to see her own potential. She stepped away from her bank lady role and into the world of entrepreneurship. I’ve never seen her smile so much. She loves what she gets to do now.
Every job she does, she commits to, and delivers to the highest quality for two reasons:
She stands by her reputation and holds herself to a high standard of delivery.
She believes that you have trusted her to do a good job, that you deserve a fresh new space, and that she is going to deliver because you trust her to do so.
I could go on and on. She’s super detailed oriented. She will fill nail holes, remove wallpaper, remove outlet and light switch covers, clean the walls and do a lot of prep work ahead of painting. This effort is worth it to her, because it ensures your final paint job will be well done. She is meticulous when it comes to edge lines. And she’s not afraid to recommend painting the ceiling or trim or doors when she thinks it will help with the overall outcome of the project. She only makes recommendations if she thinks it will help you meet your goal and make the room something you’ll want to show off. She doesn’t do this to upsell you or try to get you to spend more. She does it for the outcome of the room.
Painting, color selection, room decor, recommendations for room arrangement, and organizational advice are all things she excels at.
If you are going to have a space redone, you deserve to have it done well.
This isn't a sales pitch. I just wanted you to know a bit about my sister and her dedication to the work that she’s doing. She really doesn’t need my help because most of her work comes from word of mouth referrals, repeat customers, and neighbors or friends of customers who love the work she has done in someone else’s house and want that for themselves.
If you find this site because someone referred you or you were just looking for a great painter, contact her. She does free estimates and she enjoys meeting new people. Plus pets love her.
Oh and I didn’t tell you this… but she has impeccable organization skills that have helped move my life with three kids from chaos to contained. Stuff has a place, there’s a system for many areas of the house, and she’s helped declutter so much. She didn’t want me to tell people about this skill because it’s a lot of work - but it’s totally worth it! (Plus I’m the one writing her website content.)
